Seedbox Discussions HDD space?

What does the HDD size mean? When the seed boxes are advertised they give an amount of HDD space like 50Gb, 200Gb etc. What does this amount mean?
For instance if you have a 50Gb seed box, can you only have 50Gb in the seed box, meaning you cannot dl anything over 50Gb?

HDD means Hard disk drive


About that example you gave of 50GB of HDD, you can only have 50GB there maximum.
Yeap, you can not download anything over 50GB (you can but you can always choose to download some files, not the whole torrent)

Some trackers don't let you freeleech if you don't take the whole file so that sucks a bit. And all those siterips you'd be missing out on...:tongue_smilie:

Although in shared seed-boxes, the scenario is quite different. There is lot more hdd space, and people are allowed to ask a particular amount of it. As a mark of friendship people should not break the mark, but in case of emergency, if other sharing users allow, then that particular user can use more space than the one allocated to him.
