Brand new 100M machine is up:
We recently went ahead an bought some used machines from our provider, who recently pulled them from their rack in Miami.
The first of these has been re-purposed as a New 100M Machine

Now, this is where it gets interesting, the drives in this beast are 1TB 2.5" Seagate Constellation ES enterprise grade 6GB/s SAS, we have about 9 used ones, new these currently are running like $130 each (when bought +$250). This, unlike our other 100M machines, is 4U chassis with 36 bays I have room for like 12 add-on disks.
So, as a server up Special and since the disks are used, I've convinced the data center to sell them to us for 50Eur each, plus the remote hands charge (20Eur), you can double your storage to 2TB for a one time charge of 70Eur (less than the price of a 1TB 5400 SATA add-on)
Best of all, these are at our standard 100M price of 21.50Eur / Mo -- we don't expect either the servers or the disks to last long.
Note: No the machines are not in Miami, they are just outside Amsterdam
